M fits US 6-9. L fits US 9½-13. XL fits US 13½-16. Cotton relaxes with wear, so if you are between sizes, most people size up.
how to wear them
Half calf sits between a quarter and a full calf sock — high enough to stay put in a sneaker or boot, low enough to vanish under a trouser. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Skip the fabric softener; it coats the cotton and kills the cush.
